Research Official To Speak
An official with the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland will lead a discussion Monday on the economic importance of having such a facility in the region.
Gerald Stokes is the associate laboratory director for the laboratory’s Environmental and Health Sciences Division. He heads the laboratory’s basic research activities, which include work in the fields of molecular biology, global climate change and health sciences.
His remarks to the boards of the Spokane Area Chamber of Commerce, Spokane Intercollegiate Research and Technology Institute and TechNet will outline contributions the laboratory makes to agriculture and the aluminum industry.
