Alex Lopez scored 19 points, including the game-tying basket in regulation as Santa Clara defeated visiting Portland 69-67 in overtime. Lopez hit a 3-pointer with 12 seconds left to send the game into overtime. SC’s Chris Gomes scored what proved to be the game-winning basket with 34 seconds left.
