Trail system great gift

The residents of Liberty Lake have the opportunity to participate in the planning of a system of bicycle and walking trails throughout our community. If we can succeed in accomplishing this project, it would be a wonderful gift to our children, grandchildren and future generations. Several members of the community have been working with Spokane County and the National Park Service to obtain assistance in the planning and funding for this project.

The next meeting will be held Feb. 4 at 7 p.m. in the Dennis Ashlock Building (the new Liberty Lake Sewer and Water building), and everyone is welcome to come and participate. If you have any questions, contact Tom Specht at 255-9435, Jim Frank at 458-5960 or Bob Gamble at 255-6349.
