NEW FACES:

William A. “Fred” Ogram IV has joined Adams & Clark Inc. as a project landscape architect. Ogram will be based at the firm’s Post Falls, Idaho, branch office and will serve clients throughout the greater Inland Northwest. He has more than 16 years of experience in landscape architecture, land planning, project management and business development. Ogram is licensed to practice landscape architecture in Washington, Idaho, Montana and California.

Lisa Sunderman has been named operations analyst at Farm Credit Services. She will oversee the Finance Division’s control programs and enhancing the division’s management reporting systems. Sunderman previously worked as an accountant for the temporary accounting agency Accountemps. From 1994 to 1997, she was a staff accountant at Leffel, Otis & Warsick in Davenport, Wash. She received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Central Washington University and a master’s degree in business administration from Gonzaga University.

Powers Candy & Nut has named Moiselle Hulse as vice president of food service and convenience store sales. Hulse, who is based in Spokane, will be responsible for overseeing sales in the western half of the United States. Hulse previously worked for US Food service for more than six years in the manufacturing sales branch.

Dave Black has joined First National Home Loan as a loan officer at the company’s Post Falls branch. He is a veteran of the residential lending marketplace in the Inland Northwest.

Holy Family Hospital has added the following physicians to its medical staff:

Dr. Monica Blykowski-May has joined Rockwood Clinic North in the practice of family medicine. She received her medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed a residency at Family Medicine Spokane. Blykowski-May is board certified in family practice.

Dr. Timothy W. Bax has joined Associated Surgeons as a general surgeon. Bax received his medical degree from the Oregon Health Sciences University, where he also completed a residency program in general surgery. He also spent one year as a research fellow in the area of minimally invasive surgery. Bax is board eligible in general surgery with a special interest in laparoscopic surgery.

Glenn Miller has been promoted to a newly created position of resident manager for Central PreMix Concrete Co. Inc. Miller, who has been with the company for more than 19 years, will continue to manage the Construction Products Department. He moved to the Coeur d’Alene branch in 1987 as quality control technician and was named assistant branch manager in 1990. He also has been construction products manager, branch safety supervisor and truck superintendent, and has worked in concrete sales.

The Spokane Humane Society has named Doug Raper as its executive director. Raper was executive director of the Wishing Star Foundation for the past eight years.

MOVING UP:

Sharon Fairchild has been named president of Group Health Northwest, succeeding Dr. Henry Berman, who retired last June. Fairchild’s responsibilities include working to ensure the HMO’s high-quality care and service, financial stability and commitment to community service. A graduate of Whitworth College, she has worked for Group Health Northwest for more than 22 years. Fairchild served as vice president for 12 years prior to becoming interim president upon Berman’s retirement.

Brad Griffith has been named Coeur d’Alene division manager for Poe Asphalt Paving Inc. Griffith has more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry, including stints in field operations, estimating and management. He spent 12 years with Granite Construction Co. before joining Poe Asphalt in 1995. He managed Poe’s Pullman division the past four years with additional responsibilities at the main office in Clarkston this season.

KUDOS:

The Spokane office of D.A. Davidson & Co. has named Garry Shea, R.C. Roland, Dave Milbrath and Doug Dumais to the company’s Chairman’s Council, which gives top financial consultants a say in the direction and philosophy of the firm. Named to D.A. Davidson’s President’s Club were Glenn Baldwin, Jeff Taylor, Kirt Fredericks and Donita Skinner. The President’s Club recognizes outstanding performance and service to clients.

The 80-room downtown Spokane Travelodge has won the Sleepy Bear Honor Roll award from Travelodge Hotels Inc. The award is presented to hotels in the chain which receive the highest quality assurance ratings.
