Holiday Will Cause Some Closures
The Fourth of July holiday will be observed on Monday, July 5, affecting many services:
Banks: Most branches closed Monday. Some satellite branches in grocery stores and other locations open.
Mail: No delivery Monday, but post office box service provided at the Riverside and Liberty Park stations.
Government offices: Federal, state, county and city offices closed Monday.
Libraries: Spokane city and county libraries closed Monday.
Parking meters: A meter holiday Monday - park for free.
Buses: Spokane Transit Authority service on the holiday schedule Monday.
Garbage: Pickups in the Valley and the city one day late next week.
Liquor stores: All state liquor stores will be closed Monday.
