Fugitive Arrested

Fugitive Maurice Simon was caught and jailed late Saturday on charges of possession of crack cocaine, escape and three other warrants.

Simon, 28, was found in a car parked at the Spokane Arena just hours after his picture was released by Spokane Police as part of the Secret Witness program.

Simon escaped last week while being interviewed by a Spokane County public defender on North Monroe.
