Dr. Alexandra — host of a nationally syndicated call-in radio show for teens — is doing a live broadcast of her show from Coeur d’Alene City Park Tuesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Teens ages 13 to 18 are invited to come “rap” with Dr. Alexandra about anything on your mind. The event will take place at the park Gazebo.
Host a French student this summer. Loisirs Culturels a l’Etranger (LEC) is looking for families with teenagers ages 14 to 19 to host French exchange students July 31-Aug. 27. Academically and artistically gifted junior and senior high school students are eligible to attend Eastern Washington University’s Satori Camp, July 25-30. Camp counselors needed. The Muscular Dystrophy Association is seeking counselors for its summer camp in North Bend, Wash., July 17-24. Counselors must be at least 16 years old and able to lift a child. Volunteers are needed for the Washington State Senior Games, Aug. 12-15 at Spokane Community College. The Senior Games promote health and fitness for adults who are 50 or older.
