Bible Schools Planned In August
As summer winds its way through July, the cries of “I’m bored” by children are probably reaching full chorus.
Two Valley churches are now putting the final touches on plans to host vacation Bible schools in early August. Here’s a chance to register your kids for a week of learning and fun.
The Pasadena Park Church of the Nazarene will host its Bible school session Aug. 9-13.
Classes for children in grades K-6 will run from 6:30 to 9 p.m. daily. The theme of the event is “Bible Treasure Hunt.”

Hope Lutheran Church will host “Jungle Journey: Exploring God’s Promises” Aug. 9-13.
The classes will run from 9 to 11:30 a.m. daily and are open to all children age 3 through the eighth grade.

Billy Graham film
The Berean Bible Church will show the new Billy Graham film “A Vow to Cherish” Sunday at 6 p.m. The movie stars Emmy award winner Barbara Babcock and Tony award winner Ken Howard.
