Zone Change At 28Th, Ray Ok’D

Spokane City Council

The Spokane City Council Monday approved a zone change for residential property at 28th and Ray.

The action allows the owner the opportunity to develop apartments or offices on six lots, one of which has a street address of 3140 E. 28th.

Residents of the Lincoln Heights Neighborhood did not object to the change.

The applicant was identified as David Groenig.

Currently the property has two houses on it.

In other business, the council ordered the paving and construction of curbs and sidewalks on 36th Avenue from Mount Vernon to Regal streets.

The work, which includes water installation is being financed through a local improvement district of adjacent property owners.
