City Will Offer Day Camp Again

The Spokane Parks and Recreation Department will offer the University of Fun Summer Day Camp again this year at the Northeast Youth Center.

The 10-week camp, for kids 5-13, will begin June 14. Each 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. day is filled with a variety of activities, such as educational and recreational day trips, crafts, sports and life skills programs.

The USDA breakfast and lunch program is also included.

The weekly program cost is $30, with extended morning child care available from 7 a.m. for an extra $3 per child per day. Some scholarships are available.

Openings for all age levels are still available on a first-paid basis.
