Cleanup Day At County Park
Liberty Lake County Park is sponsoring a work day on Saturday.
Those who enjoy recreating in the park are encouraged to bring tools - including pruners, clippers and handsaws - as well as drinking water and a sack lunch for a day of trail maintenance.
Volunteers are asked to meet at the ORV area at 9 a.m.
The event is co-sponsored by the Inland Empire Chapter of the Backcountry Horsemen.
Across Washington in the past two years, the Backcountry Horsemen contributed $700,000 in in-kind donations of volunteer work hours, clearing and repairing trails.
For further information, call Bryant Robinson, Liberty Lake park ranger, at 255-9935, or Ken Elliott of the Backcountry Horsemen at 467-3725.
