Scc Names Lafayette Interim President

Spokane Community College has named Ronald H. LaFayette interim president.

He will replace Jim Williams, who will leave SCC on June 30 to head Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, Colo.

LaFayette is executive vice president of the Institute for Extended Learning. He is expected to serve as president through next June, while a nationwide search for a permanent president is conducted.

LaFayette is not a candidate for that position.
