Scope Station Moves A Few Blocks

SCOPE Edgecliff’s substation is moving.

Volunteers and sheriff’s detective Steve Barbieri will move, by June 11, to 522 S. Theirman, only a few blocks from the house on First Avenue it presently occupies.

The move comes as county engineers make way for the planned Valley Couplet, which will run along First and Second avenues.

Currently, county right-of-way agents are relocating those who live in the path of the project.

Volunteers will share the new location with county engineers for one year. Afterwards, county engineers and SCOPE officials will reach an agreement on where the station will be permanently located.
