Three Arrested On Drug Charges

Police narcotics investigators arrested three people Tuesday in northeast Spokane after a search of a home uncovered drugs and weapons, officers said.

Richard Atkinson, 27, and Andrea S. Novick, 25, were booked into the Spokane County Jail on charges of manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, and possession of methamphetamine. Atkinson also was booked on a charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Jesus M. Enriquez, 30, was booked into jail on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, as well as two unrelated warrants.

Narcotics officers raided a home at 807 E. Courtland about 6 p.m. Tuesday, finding a handgun and a variety of drugs. Two children were in the home at the time and were taken to a relative’s home, police said.
