TEAM RESULTS

State 4A University boys win championship for second year. State 3A - West Valley boys finish second, losing by one-half point. State 1A - Freeman boys tie for third. State B - Valley Christian boys place second and Liberty boys fourth.

INDIVIDUAL CHAMPIONS

University - Ian Johnson, 1600-3,200; Kris Martin 800 (second in 1,600). West Valley - Brad Groh, triple jump-high hurdles (fourth in intermediate hurdles). Freeman - John Russell, 1,600-3,200. Valley Christian - Jayvan Eberle, high hurdles-intermediate hurdles.

Central Valley - Tye Scott, 2nd javelin; Brandon Hunt, 3rd shot put, 6th discus; Brandon Bonewell, 7th 800; Heather Harding 6th shot put, 8th discus; CV girls 2nd 1,600 relay and 4th 800 relay.

East Valley - Blake Horgan, 4th shot put; Andrew Burgess, 6th high jump; Ryan Coordes, 7th, 3,200. Brittany Hauser, 4th javelin; Korinda Godwin, 4th 1,600; Melanie Frostad, 8th 3,200; Rachelle Schultz, 5th shot put. Alicia Tonani, 7th high jump.
