A man who crashed his racing truck into a crowd of spectators during the Baja 500 desert race in San Diego was released from the hospital.

Jason Baldwin, 29, of Laguna Hills, Calif., lost control of his full-sized pickup and rolled into a crowd, killing a Mexican spectator and injuring more than a dozen.

Atlantic Seagulls owner Ken Gross said he will fold the U.S. Basketball League franchise after this season because he can’t continue taking $100,000-a-year operating losses.
