Neighborhood Meetings
The North Hill Neighborhood Council will meet tonight at 7 p.m. at Willard Elementary School, 500 W. Longfellow.
On the agenda is a review of the recent neighborhood clean-up and discussion of how best to promote the neighborhood. Traffic, transportation and zoning issues will also be discussed.
The Logan Neighborhood Council will meet Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at Northwest Regional Facilitators, 525 E. Mission.
The meeting will feature a presentation on the Community Emergency Response Team training program.
The Riverside Neighborhood Council will meet Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at the Rodeway Inn, 827 W. First Ave.
Spokane police officers, security ambassadors and members of Top COPS will present a community forum on crime prevention.
The Hillyard Neighborhood Council will meet Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Northeast Community Center, 4001 N. Cook.
Engineer Keith Martin will give a presentation about the north-south Freeway. The agenda also includes a discussion of how to support the Hillyard Festival and development of a community bulletin board to be placed in Harmon Park.
The Northwest Neighborhoods Council will meet June 17 at 7 p.m. at the Shadle Park Library, 2111 W. Wellesley.
Marty Jouflas, director of real estate for Safeway Seattle will speak about the Shadle Park Mall and Deana Stout will discuss the Audubon Reading Program.
The Chief Garry Park Neighborhood Council will meet June 17 at 7 p.m. at Stevens Elementary School, 1717 E. Sinto.
