Meth, Gun Seized In Edgecliff Raid

Sat., June 12, 1999

Sheriff’s deputies confiscated a small amount of methamphetamine and one firearm during a raid on a home in the Edgecliff neighborhood.

Deputies raided the home at 4618 E. Fifth on Tuesday.

After a month-long investigation, during which undercover officers made several methamphetamine purchases at the home, deputies received a warrant to search the house.

Deputies arrested Daniel Patrick Hall, 41, who lives at the home, on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance.

His roommate, William P. Hitt, 35, was also arrested on suspicion of possessing, delivering and planning to deliver a controlled substance.

A third roommate, Heather M. Steffenson, 30, was arrested on an unrelated misdemeanor theft warrant.

A visitor, Brian R. Stach, 40, of 2015 N. Woodruff, was arrested on suspicion of possessing and planning to deliver a controlled substance and possession of stolen property.
