Road Work On Tap

Construction projects along Interstate 90 could cause delays for commuters this week.

On Monday and Tuesday, from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., eastbound I-90 will be reduced to one lane from the Sprague overpass to the Broadway overpass while crews build a temporary off-ramp.

The work is part of a state Department of Transportation project to build a new interchange at Sprague and I-90.

Also Monday, work begins on a project to add a lane to I-90 in each direction between Broadway and Argonne. Beginning Monday, Park Road will be closed at I-90, so drivers should use Argonne or Fancher.

People who commute to Eastern Washington University from Spokane should prepare for some construction delays in coming weeks.

Work starts Monday to resurface State Route 904 from I-90 to Cheney.
