Swimmer Missing

The Spokane County dive rescue team and the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department are investigating a possible drowning at Fishtrap Lake Saturday afternoon.

Deputies were called to the lake at about 2 p.m. because one of three men who were trying to swim across the lake didn’t make it across.

The man, 19, is believed to have drowned, a deputy said.

The Spokane dive team couldn’t find a body Saturday, but will resume searching this morning.
