A Seafirst Bank in the Spokane Valley was robbed Monday by a man with “scraggly” gray and black hair and a mustache, witnesses told Spokane County sheriff’s deputies.
At about 3 p.m. Monday, a man described as dirty and rough-looking entered the bank and gave a teller a note, keeping one hand in his pocket, but not revealing any weapon, deputies said..
The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect left on foot, taking the note with him.
Deputies questioned several people walking nearby the bank at 8505 E. Sprague but do not have any suspects.
The robber was described by witnesses as possibly Hispanic, 40 to 50 years old, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, wearing a T-shirt under a dirty “yellowish or orange-ish” coat.
