Robber Hits Second Bank Branch
For the second time this week, a Seafirst Bank branch was robbed.
Just before 6 p.m. Thursday, the Seafirst Bank at 30 E. Wellesley was robbed by a white male.
Witnesses said a two-tone Chevrolet Blazer was seen leaving the bank shortly after the robbery, police spokesman Dick Cottam said.
City and county police detectives are unsure if there’s any connection to a robbery Monday at a Seafirst Bank in the Spokane Valley. That suspect was described by witnesses as “scraggly” and possibly Hispanic.
No weapon was displayed in either robbery.
The FBI is investigating both incidents.
Anyone with information on either robbery should call Crime Check at 456-2233.
