Big Sky Flight Makes Emergency Landing

From Staff

A Big Sky Airlines commuter flight made an emergency landing at Spokane International Airport on Friday morning after experiencing hydraulic problems, an airport spokesman said.

The two-engine Metroliner propeller plane carrying 14 people landed safely at 9:50 a.m., spokesman Todd Woodard said. Emergency vehicles were sent to the runway as a precaution.

The plane took off in Great Falls, Mont., en route to Spokane.

The plane was being checked out as to the cause of the hydraulic troubles.
