Wtb Opening New Branch
Washington Trust Bank will build a new, full-service branch in north Wenatchee and close two in nearby grocery stores, Vice President Blake Gregory said Monday.
The 3,100-square-foot branch, due to open in early 2000, will include drive-up lanes, a 24-hour automatic teller machine and Saturday service, he said in a statement.
Staff from the Miller Street Safeway and Fair Market branches will transfer to the new branch.
Gregory said customer demand for drive-up service was the major reason for developing a full-service branch.
When completed, the north Wenatchee branch will join two others in Wenatchee and one in East Wenatchee.
