Man Killed When Struck By Log

A Williams, Calif., man was killed Tuesday near Lake Cushman when he was struck by a log during a helicopter logging operation.

Jose Luis Ramirez, 42, was flown to Mason General Hospital in Shelton, where he was pronounced dead.

Ramirez was standing in the landing area when he was struck.
