Ready-To-Wear 2000
Young designers carried the opening day Sunday of Paris fall-winter 1999-2000 ready-to-wear collections, steeped in mohair and enthusiasm and pleasant surprises.Nothing looked startling or even futuristic, though there was much to please in these younger collections. Ralph Kemp, 33, made a hit with his tribal details from Alaska, Central or South America, plus a map of the Americas on the runway.
