Jennifer Love as princess Jennifer Love was chosen Monday to be her school’s 1999 Lilac Princess.

The senior at Northwest Christian School is the daughter of James and Holly Love.

Love volunteers at Sacred Heart Medical Center and Holy Family Hospital and does work for Meals on Wheels. She also plays volleyball and basketball for her school.

She plans to attend Point Loma Nazarene College in California and major in business.

Love is the eighth of 13 Lilac princesses to be chosen this year. One will be named queen during an April 17 competition at Ferris High School.
