Lc Chooses Lilac Princess

The ninth of 13 Lilac Festival princesses was chosen Tuesday night.

Mollie Hannes, a Lewis and Clark High School senior, will represent her school. She is the daughter of Cara and Ron Hannes.

Hannes, 17, has been involved in the Leadership Spokane Board of Directors, Hoopfest, the Vanessa Behan Santa Express and Girls State.

One of the Lilac princesses will be named queen April 17.
