No Apparent Damage From Minor Quake

A minor earthquake about 25 miles southeast of here apparently caused no damage, officials said.

The University of Washington reported the magnitude 3 temblor occurred at 5:05 a.m. Friday.

There were no immediate reports of damage in the sparsely-populated area east of Cheney, home of Eastern Washington University. University police said there were no reports of damage to buildings.
