Wildlife enhancement contest

People who go to extra lengths to enhance wildlife habitat are invited to enter the Wildlife Enhancement Contest sponsored by the local chapter of Safari Club International

For the sixth year, the club will award $500 in prizes to the top entrants who boost wildlife on acreages that range from small to large, said contest chairman Marvin Willms.

Even backyard habitats are eligible.

Items considered in judging include wintering ground, food source, impact on wildlife, breeding and nesting grounds and long-term benefits.

Entries should include photos or videos plus detailed descriptions of the project.
