Melanie Wilson Named Nc Princess

The 11th of 13 Lilac Festival princesses was chosen Tuesday night.

Melanie Wilson, a North Central High School senior, will represent her school. She is the daughter of Brent and Naomi Wilson.

Wilson, 18, is involved in student government, honor society, school musicals and the Spokane Music and Arts Council. She also is an honor art student.

She plans to attend Brigham Young University and major in medicine.

One of the Lilac princesses will be named queen April 17 at Ferris High School.
