College Offering Computer Classes For Seniors
The Community Colleges of Spokane’s Institute for Extended Learning is offering several short, non-credit computer courses for seniors 55 and older.
The basic courses are designed for those who have never used a computer or haven’t touched one in several years. Teachers will introduce the parts of a computer and the keyboard. Students will also learn to open, close and use some programs.
All classes are $14 and will be held on Fridays from 12:30-3:30 p.m. at the Hillyard Center Computer Lab, 4410 N. Market Street.
The first session, class No. 7837, will run from April 9-23. Class No. 7838 runs from May 7-21, and class No. 7839 runs from June 4-18.
