Wildflowers

Professional botanists will be sharing their expertise in a wildflower identification course, sponsored by the Northeast Chapter of the Washington Native Plant Society.

The six-session course will be offered Wednesday evenings April 14-May 19 at North Central High School.

Flowers will be supplied and illustrated keys are available.

“The class is for beginners, but will be a good review for others,” said Nicolin Gray, a botanist and course co-organizer.

The course costs $37. Registration is through the Spokane Community College Institute for Extended Learning, 533-3770.
