Road Won’T Reopen Until Mid-Summer

Snake River Avenue will not reopen until at least mid-July after a landslide plaguing Nez Perce County started moving again.

The county almost certainly is stuck with paying the approximately $85,000 it cost to try to repair the route this month after what was supposed to be a temporary fix last fall failed.

From now on, avenue repairs will be managed by the Idaho Transportation Department.
