Trash From Meth Lab Found By Garbage Driver

A Valley Garbage Service driver discovered what appeared to be trash from a methamphetamine lab while driving near Pines Road and Mansfield Avenue on Wednesday afternoon.

The driver told Sheriff’s deputies he was driving through the area around 4 p.m. when he noticed smoke coming from the back of his truck.

Valley Fire and sheriff’s deputies responded and discovered cans of Coleman lantern fuel, Draino and hundreds of matches.

Deputies believe the trash came from a methamphetamine lab in the Spokane Valley.

The investigation is continuing.
