Weitman Signs With North Idaho

Cheney High School basketball stand-out Kara Weitman has signed a letter of intent to play at North Idaho College, coach Greg Crimp announced.

Weitman, a 5-foot-9 wing, averaged 15 points per game last season. She was selected to The Spokesman-Review All-Area team and the All-Border League team.

Also, Breanne Smith has signed with NIC softball for next year. She is from Deer Park.
