Neighborhood Meetings

The North Hill Neighborhood Council will meet tonight at 7 at Willard Elementary School, 500 W. Longfellow.

No agenda information was available.

The Logan Neighborhood Council will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Northwest Regional Facilitators, 525 E. Mission.

On the agenda is a presentation by Becky Swan of Single Parent Outreach, election of officers and various committee report updates.

The Hillyard Neighborhood Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Northeast Community Center, 4001 N. Cook.

Keith Martin, the head engineer for the proposed North-South freeway, will be a regular attendee at every meeting for at least the next six months to answer questions and gather community input about the project.

The agenda also includes discussion of community Y2K preparedness and support for the Hillyard festival.

The Chief Garry Park Neighborhood Council will meet at 7 p.m. May 20 at Stevens Elementary School, 1717 E. Sinto.

The State Environmental Policy Act checklist for the operations maintenance center will be made available and a Spokane police officer will give a talk about the neighborhood.
