Tools Stolen From Building Site

A thief took thousands of dollars worth of tools from a Spokane Valley construction site earlier this month.

Employees of Active Electric Inc., who had been working in the 16000 block of East Indiana Avenue, told sheriff’s deputies someone broke into a truck parked at the construction site between April 30 and May 7.

The thief pried open a lock and stole everything from bolts and washers and oxygen tanks to high-powered nail guns and saws.

All tools were marked with the company’s initials.
