Charitable Group’S Tools Are Stolen
Someone has stolen $700 in tools from a charitable organization that builds houses for low-income residents, Spokane County sheriff’s deputies said.
The thief or thieves broke into a shed owned by Habitat for Humanity late Saturday or early Sunday and made off with two power saws, extension cords, two ladders and an ice chest full of drinks, deputies said.
The shed is in the 7900 block of East Alki, near a Habitat for Humanity work site.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
