Locke Appoints Student Trustees

Gov. Gary Locke selected student members to serve on the boards of trustees and regents at Washington colleges and universities.

Appointments to the boards Friday included: Washington State University:

Bernadett Buchanan of Spokane, a senior majoring in social studies with a minor in comparative American cultures. She is chairwoman of the Coalition for Women Students.

Eastern Washington University: Melisa L. Dybbro of Bremerton, a senior studying sociology. She is the academic affairs representative for the Associated Students of Eastern Washington University.
