Berg Scores Clean Sweep

Northwest Mini-Super driver Tony Berg scored the “clean sweep” by setting the fast time and then winning the trophy dash, heat and main event Saturday night at Stateline Speedway.
The win was Berg’s second in three series races and moved him back into the points lead over race runner-up Joe Ruddach.
Scott Perry ran his Fever Four Hobby streak to six straight, while Keith O’Dell snapped Rob Vest’s three-race win streak in Street Stocks.
John Carmack was the last car running and won Sunday’s demolition derby.
The Friday night racing opener saw Randy Lasswell win his sec ond Grand American Sportsman race in a row, while Bill Currier ended Ron Nance’s two-race win streak in Hobby Stocks. Anthony Reynolds won the first Figure-8 race of the season.
Benedetti takes wire-to-wire win
NASCAR Northwest Series rookie Joe Benedetti led all 125 laps of Saturday night’s Pepsi 125 at South Sound Speedway and took a one-car-length victory over Chris Hart in a race at South Sound Speedway.
