Miller Cannot Disguise His Ill Will For Knicks
Reggie Miller wore camouflage shorts after practice, looking every bit ready to go to war with the New York Knicks in the Eastern Conference championship series.
While Miller looked the part Thursday, he hasn’t talked the part yet.
“I don’t know if I’ve held my tongue,” Miller said. “We know that they want us. We know that we want them. What more needs to be said?”
Then Miller heard what Knicks forward Marcus Camby had said. “Miller wasn’t really a factor” in the three regular-season Knicks-Pacers games.
Miller had a response.
“All I know is we beat them two out of three times, and I remember Camby didn’t play in two of those games,” said Miller, who shot 37 percent and averaged just 12 points against the Knicks. “So how’s he going to talk?”
