Refuge plans

The Little Pend Oreille National Wildlife Refuge southeast of Colville has published management alternatives that could change the types of uses allowed on the 40,200-acre tract of public land. Copies of the proposals are available from Refuge Manager, Little Pend Oreille NWR, 1310 Bear Creek Rd., Colville, WA 99114. Comments are due by June 30. Info: (509) 684-8384.
