Builder Seeks Zoning Change
A homebuilder wants to change the zoning and partially replat residential property on 38th Avenue at Havana so four homes can be built there.
Kevin Gunder of Gunder Homes has applied to change the zone from the residential-suburban category to single-family residential, which has a minimum lot size of 7,200 square feet.
The two westernmost of the three lots would be replatted into three lots, according to the plan.
The zone change request must be considered in a public hearing before the city hearing examiner. Surrounding property owners will be notified of the hearing, which has not been scheduled yet.
