Bryan D. Westby has joined Adams & Clark Inc. as land planner. Westby, who has a background in urban and environmental land planning and landscape architecture, previously worked for the Kootenai County Planning Department in Coeur d’Alene.
Sherrie Casteel has been hired as an assistant in the Human Resources Consulting Group of Moss Adams LLP. Her responsibilities include assisting with writing employee handbooks, writing proposals, client service questions, recruiting, research and salary surveys. Casteel earned a bachelor’s degree in human development with a minor in human resources personnel from Washington State University.
Mike Daoussis has joined the Spokane office of Marsh (formerly Sedgwick of Washington Inc.) as a client executive. Daoussis has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance brokerage business with Health Insurance Services and AON Risk Services. He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California and completed the executive MBA program at UCLA. He will specialize in the commercial property and casualty area.
Moving up:
Martin Harski, director of cost segregation services in the Spokane office of Moss Adams LLP, has been elected principal. Martin, who joined Moss Adams three years ago, has focused exclusively on providing cost segregation services throughout the United States for companies and individuals who are building or purchasing facilities. Harski is the first non-certified public accountant to be named principal in Moss Adams’ Spokane office as the firm puts added emphasis on providing specialized consulting services for clients.

Theresa Mouser manages the bank’s Northgate branch. She joined Washington Trust in 1996.
Carolyn LeFors, who has worked for Washington Trust for more than 12 years, is manager of the bank’s Deer Park branch.

Claudia Kehoe has purchased Jet-Set Travel Inc., 14 S. Monroe. Kehoe is a 25-year veteran of Spokane’s real estate industry and worked for Credit Bureau Services before purchasing Jet-Set, which was started in 1983 by Frances Martin.
Kudos:
The federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration has declared Potlatch Corp.’s Post Falls particleboard plant a STAR site under the Voluntary Protection Program. The designation, which OSHA awards to only a handful of worksites in the United States, recognizes excellence in safety and health programs through cooperation among employees, employers and the government. Post Falls is currently the only particleboard plant in the nation to be awarded STAR status in the program.
The Digital Card System developed by Spokane-based DigiDeal Corp. has been named one of the “Top 20 Most Innovative Gaming Products for 2000” by Casino Journal Magazine. The product was selected from among 120 nominated for the honor. The DCS technology is incorporated in DigiDeal’s “Digital 21,” which uses virtual cards displayed on screens for each player and the dealer.
