Dogs took over the catwalk recently at the Kit Kat Klub in New York for the national launch of Canine Couture, a collection of utilitarian fashions created for the 21st-century dog. Canine Couture is a fund-raising effort by the Web site www.pets.com. Nearly two dozen dogs cruised the runway wearing creations from top designers, including Donna Karan, Todd Oldham, Kate Spade and James Purcell.
