Timberlake Beats Mullan

Girls basketball

In a tale of two halves, Timber- lake opened a 17-point halftime lead and coasted to a 54-33 non-league girls basketball win over visiting Mullan on Monday night.

Timberlake, outscored 25-16 the second half after opening the big lead, put three players in double figures. Angie Campbell had 15 points, Casi Reisenauer 13 points, six assists and four steals and Nicole Lower 12 points and 11 rebounds. Natalie Autio led Mullan with 15 points.

Kootenai stormed back in the fourth quarter but a shaky start cost it a 35-32 decision at Deary.

Janelle Scheffelmaier had eight of her 12 rebounds the second half for Kootenai (0-4). Monica Kraack led the Kootenai offense with 14 points.
