Ginny Turner of Hillsboro, Ore., training on a track in Beaverton, is nearing an outrageous goal she set for herself in 1996. Turner planned to run a marathon in all 50 states, plus Washington D.C., and on all seven continents. Turner will snag her 50th state in Arizona on Sunday, Dec. 5, and her seventh continent in the Millennium Marathon in New Zealand on Jan. 1.
