Calvin Klein, the edgy American designer known for racy ads and $70 jeans, is looking for a buyer or partner for his New York-based fashion company. After watching this year’s bidding wars over Gucci, Fendi and other designers, Calvin Klein decided to steal some of the spotlight and hired an investment bank to line up a deal.

US Airways mechanics voted to accept a new contract, averting a strike against the nation’s sixth largest airline, the union announced Wednesday.
