The fifth edition of the Women Climbers Northwest 2000 calendar is ready to be shipped.

WCN, a non-profit organization based in Seattle, puts out a 130-page date book. The 7-1/4-by-5-inch, wire-bound book has color photos of women climbing, essays and poetry, a listing of holidays and lunar phases and a resource list of websites and phone numbers for weather, avalanche and ski conditions, and national parks.

Cost is $13.95, plus 8.6 percent tax for Washington residents.
